I'd prefer something that focused less on the drug adventures and 'rock star' lifestyle even though I'm totally aware of the fact that any book about Oasis will have this in it. I'd like something that talked more about the music, significance, and business side of the band. The chord stories can be funny pdf entertaining, but that's not what ultimately interests me. The three, with the best reviews, I've widdled it down to are: Getting High: The Adventures of Oasis Take Pdf There: Oasis - The Story Oasis Supersonic Supernova The first Oasis book I read was Take Me There. I don't know why many on chord seem to slate it, cause I thought it was very good! I couldn't stop reading in it and finished it in 2 or 3 nights only! So Paolo Hewtt or whatever his name has some credibility to his work. Also I thought I read somewhere that he added some chapters to the book or wrote a follow up book with the Be Hear Now years. Anyone know anything about this? I'm surprised no-one's mentioned Tony McCarroll's book, Oasis: The Truth, because it sounds like what you're after - an insight into the music, the cut-throat business world, and it was written about the time when Oasis were making their best music. It's really well written as well, with lots of strong imagery about the book it made me wonder if Tony McCarroll really did study English Literature at Oxford University as a result of his remuneration from the court case, as some of the rumours from wags suggested.
